Rape Prevention Courses
FH used to go to this martial arts school in Lindenhurst called Modern Warrior and they just posted their new rape prevention courses. Here's the info if anyone is interested.
FREE Rape Prevention Class
Now booking for Saturday, February 7 from 6 - 10 pm
A totally FREE, no commitment class that's open to females 12 and older. We've been teaching this community service class for over 20 years. You CAN learn effective strategies, tactics and techniques that will help you WIN a confrontation against a bigger, stronger, faster attacker! We're always booked well in advance; early registration is highly recommended.
Refundable $25 deposit per person is required to hold your place and is returned to you on the night of the class.
8 Week Female Self Defense Course:
Sundays, 5 – 6:30 pm; Mondays, 6 – 7:30 pm
Start dates: Monday, January 5 (join up through Lesson 2); Sunday, March 8; Monday, June 22; Sunday, September 20
For females 12 and older, this empowering course changes lives! You'll feel safer knowing when, where and how to hit. Classes run for an hour and a half each week and include Improvised Weapons, Blocking, Groundfighting, Throws, Breaking Holds and Kicks, just to name a few.
At the end of the course, we suit up our 'bad guys' in protective gear and you get to go full force with all that you've learned in our Confrontational Simulations! How cool!
Just $195 if paid in full within 1 week prior to course start date.
OR use our Pay-As-You-Go Plan for a total of $225. ($50 deposit required at sign up for either option.) Current MWS and Group Discounts available!
