Hi Girls, Thinking about booking Raphael Vineyard...it's beautiful! Has anyone had their reception there? Did they work with you on price? We're thinking of booking in December. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

hey! did you end up booking at raphael? I used to work there as a bridal attendant for several years. I'm hoping to have my own wedding there in fall 2009.
It's a beautiful place and Julie is great! You can trust her to take care of everything!

Congratulations! It's so exciting! I did end up booking Raphael! It is so beautiful, rustic and elegant! You must have enjoyed working there! I'm bringing Lisa the deposit tomorrow and then FH and I are going to spend the night somewhere out there.

awesome- Julie and Lisa are great. I ended up booking at Giorgio's instead, but I love love love Raphael. You will have a beautiful wedding. I was a the bridal attendant for 5 years- I loved it. And the food is incredible! I definitely miss the food!

Thanks! I just love it there! Glad to hear about the food too, as my fiance and I love good and different food. Giorgios looks beautiful too! Congrats! Can I ask...as a bridal attendant at Raphael, what were your duties? I'm new to this, so I don't know what that is Thank you!

I loved Raphel, and i also looked at georgios. Georgios told me up front that they did not have the dates i needed. So i looked at r 2 times and really loved it. When i went to book at R with my husband, and When i called that morning to confirm my appointment. We showed up withcash, after having gone around to 3 different banks getting the dep. together and then drove 2 hours in traffic. when i arrived, L said that suddenly they no longer had the date available available. we were heart broken... Not a nice way to do business.

omg, that's awful!!! sorry to hear... it's the only place that we're interested in currently though and we're pretty flexible for dates, so hopefully we'll be okay. before they screwed you over, were they willing to negotiate prices? if so, do you remember what you negotiated it for?

Yeah i know right - -then we went to woodlands and i was sold. You really need to just look at some other places before you book. they showed us there truecolors and it broke our hearts. Dont get me wrong - -we had a great wedding after all but i need to trus the people that i am booking with. There are a lot of other really great places out there. let me know if you ahve any other questions or need any other help.
