RAVE!!!

I am not sure how many of you are going to have a series of facials before the wedding but I have to post about this.

So for the past 2 years I have been going to Nu Best Salon and Spa in Manhasset for facials. I never really liked them and thought they were kinda rude. No personality and they didn't seem to care.

Well I read on the BHB board that some girl went to the spa at Nordstrom in Roosevelt Field and that she loved them.

So I made my appointment and showed up last night. Well let me tell you...They could not have been better. Their customer service was AMAZING and the experience was so relaxing. I went for a facial but they still had me soak me feet and she massaged my feet, hands and neck. I was in heaven.

After my facial was over she took me out to the register to talk to me about some of their products. Well if you've ever been to a spa you know how expensive the products can get but not once did I feel pressured to buy anything. She just talked me through the line and explained to me what I need to be doing to treat my skin. I bought everything she recommended anyway but I never felt like I had to.

I can not wait to go back every month. Well worth every penny!!!

Starting at $85 for a regular facial but I also had a Tea Tree Mask which was another $25. They are average. At my other spa they were about the same.

I did a deep cleansing facial with a Tea Tree Mask. Next month I start the cocktail facials which are more intense.

Thanks for the advice. I try to go for facials every 3 months. I love them-Some people are not into getting facials because they feel like they break out or they don't like to be touched.

I go to Bliss in NYC, because I live there, but they start out at $100 a facial...it's pricey, but i feel like a princess and my skin feels rejuvenated and I trust them.

Next month is spa week in NYC, I take full advantage and already have my appts booked. Each spa has there own deals, but most spas have $50 facials and $50 massages.

Girls, if you live or work in the city...take advantage of spa week. It's GREAT!

I've always heard great things about their spa too....

Which Spas participate in Spa week? I work in Soho. I would love to get a $50 massage.
