i was scrambling for parent gifts and decided to just get each parents different GC's to different restaurants.

I actually even scored the Palm Court at the Carltun $25 gc's for $3 each.

only drawback is you can't get them in $100 denominations.....i had to do 4 $25 ones

fh and i use rest. com coupons alll the time!!!

esp when they are 80% off

i noticed 1 place said no after I bought them but 2 others didn't. i was afraid of that and it would **** lol

i boughta $25 cert once and iw as telling my friend how awesoem it was on the way to the restaurant.

we get there, i show the cert.. and the guy was a dbag and said that they chanegd it and theres a 100$ minimum order!!!

yea no! that was soooooo messed up


so i called rest. com and told them what happened.. they refunded my $ and gave me FOUR certificates as an apology!

love themmm

How do you use this site?

My co-worker got me $75 worth of gc about 2 yrs ago..and i had no clue what to do with them... so I just didn't do anything at all and forgot all about them

just check all the details of the requirements. some do have minimums..like must spend $35 mon-thurs not including drinks. and usually tax + tip are added to the full amount before the $25 gc

its still cool, but should read the fine print before you give it as a gift. and if you are concerned, you can always pair one of those GCs with a visa gift card to cover any other incidentals

or you can just call the restaurant and ask them

i had recently bought one and when i went to the restuarant they said they were no longer participating and trying to get off the site for 2 months. they gave us a 15% discount instead and said we can keep reusing the coupon for 15% off for a year. then res.com emailed me and said since they are no longer participating that i could exchange it for a new place.

2 for the price of one woohoo
i love that site

FYI great restaurant to check out in the city.. AMARONE not super elegant and not expensive esp for NYC. nice Italian place, you can sit in our outside. Took my girls there when they came with em to klienfelds as a treat =) they loved it!
