Rave: Great jewelry cleaner!!

Hey ladies,

I went into walmart today and bought this ring cleaner (from their jewelry counter). I figured I'd give it a try, but didn't think it was gonna work. I think it was $3, and BOY does my ring SPARKLE!!

Its: Connoisseurs Jewelry Cleaner

It's in a red container, and it comes with a little tray and a brush. Leave it in the tray in the solution for 30 seconds, scrub your ring with the brush, rinse, and voila!!!!!

So great! just wanted to pass it on!

It says to leave them in for a minute or something... you leave them in longer?!?! I want to have my ring cleaned for my eparty tongiht but most jewlers have the stem cleaners in the back & there is NO way I am going to let them take my ring!!

i've used that also, when i picked up my bands i asked the jeweler how i should clean my e-ring, and he said unbend a paper clip and hang your ring on it in a pot of boiling water making sure your ring doesn''t hit the bottom and the water covers the ring, leave it for about 10 minutes, take it out to cool and good as new, i guess because all they are really doing is steaming it,
but i still like the way the jewelry cleaner makes it look

I like how the Connoisseurs Jewelry Cleaner works. However, I may give the steaming a try to see which one sparkles more.

I have the same jewelry cleaner that I've used on other jewelry but I'm scared to put my ring in often! I know the diamond will be fine but I'm nervous about the platinum; i read (on the internet of course so I have no idea) that you should clean it as gently as possible, with hot water and mild soap (I use a soft toothbrush to scrub). Has anyone else heard anything else like that?

I never heard that. Someone from a jewelry store actually told me to leave it in rubbing alcohol! However, my sister just cleaned her wedding band in one of those jewelry cleaner, hers was a blue jar, and it turned color! Her ring was from a very well known jewelry store, no gimmicks. It does make me wonder....
