FH gets a razor rash when he shaves... Anyone else's FH or DH have this too?
Can you recommend anything they use that can help?
Thanks!

Re: razor rash...
does he use a regular disposable razor? Fh got razor rash from shaving but I bought him an electric razor (I forgot the brand, I think braun and it helped a lot. He also uses an ahava aftershave.

DH had this problem too, and was upset about it before the wedding--he started using the Nivea for Men Skin Essentials Sensitive Skin line, it's a shave gel (I think), face wash, and then there's a balm....I'm not really sure, but it has been amazing! He hardly ever gets it now and his skin was nice and smooth (no razor burn!) on our wedding day! Highly recommended!

Re: razor rash...
yeah thats why my dh hates shaving. I bought him a couple of kiels products, one is an oil you put on beforehand to smooth the area...also ive read that they should put warm water on the area first, get a small towel with warm water and put it over the face for a little bit before shaving...there are a couple of products out there for men to put on before and after shaving.. I know when i bought him the kiehls products there was an astringent and an after moisturizer. Another product for men that is good is jack black they have a bunch of stuff to help with this problem

Re: razor rash...
1. Make sure he uses a new razor each time he shaves. 2. Use hot water, not luke warm. 3. buy a good shaving product perhaps for sensitive skin - you can go to sephora and get him some kiehls product - a pricey but well worth the $20 !!

Re: razor rash...
This may sound a little strange but Tasteful Treasures sells a shaving creme called 'coochie' its great for your bikini area but is FABULOUS for guys too!
FH always gets razor rash on his neck and was using Gillete gel (which helped) but tried the coochie I had and LOVES it
I know that Paul Mitchell hair conditioner works great too!
