My 3 nephews are our RBs. They are each paired up with a flower girl. Their ages are 5,3, and the little guy will just be 2. My question is should they each carry a pillow? My entire family agrees the 5 year old will hold it in front of his face. The other two should be fine. I dont want the 5 year old to feel left out though. Please help!! Any suggestions are welcome!

I'm having the same issue!! The only difference is... I have FOUR RB! lol Ages are 7, 3, 3, 2. I might just have the oldest one carry the rings.

Ugh so someone else is in the same boat. Are they walking down just the boys or do you have them paired up with fgs?

I only have one FG - my 4 year old neice. I was thinking about having her walk down with my oldest nephew (her brother) - the one who is holding the rings... have the two 3 year old boys walk down together and have the youngest walk down with my brother and SIL. He might be too young to make it down the aisle without flipping out.
I haven't decided yet, though. At least you have them all paired up! My family needs to have more baby girls!

The littlest guy is walking down with my niece who is the youngest flower girl...she was already in a wedding and walked down waving to everyone like miss america. Those two are surprisingly the ones im the least concerned with. My 5 year old nephew is either flinging the pillow down the aisle or covering his face the entire time. I may just buy three pillows and see what happens. The best man is holding the rings lol.

i wouldnt worry about how he holds the pillow. No matter what the kids do everybody will think its adorable. Ive seen a fg practically run down the aisle and everybody was like AWWWWW once they came out and its cute even if they dont do things perfectly. No matter what it will be a cute moment. I say the 5 year old hold the pillow or even another RB who you think will do it fine and the others just walk down with the fg's

My RB is my nephew who will be 2 by the time of the wedding...I bought a pillow (~$5) and gave it to him to practice...first thing he did was throw it on the floor, so I may not have him hold a pillow at all.
I then suggested to his mom (my SIL and MOH) that since he likes to throw things, we should make him a flower boy
If your 5-year-old is going to walk alone, then have him hold a pillow; if he walks with a FG, then don't have him hold a pillow so the others don't feel left out.
And, in the end, honestly, no one is really going to notice! If you don't believe me, here's a real story: at my brother's wedding, the ringbearer got cold feet at the very last minute and didn't walk down the aisle at all...absolutely no one said anything about it, and the wedding was a success!!

That's why i'm not too concerned. If they walk, great, if they dont walk thats ok too. The reason im having all of them is so we can get nice family pics. TY so much though!! I appreciate all the help i can get!
