RD

Ok -- my wedding is Sat @ 1030 am and everyone is telling my not to have the RD on Friday night because we will be to tired. I agree with them - that's not my question

My question is - if we have it on Th. night I am afraid our BP wont make it to the rehearsal - 5 of them are flying in from the West Coast. Should we have a day rehersal on Friday and seperate lunch with the OOTers?? Or should we just have the rehearsal on Th and ask if they can come in early? I mean I guess the guys will need to come in for their tuxes -right?

If they can come in earlier you might feel better. What if there is a problem with a dress or tux? they may not have enough time on Friday to fix the problem.

We had ours on the Thursday before our wedding. A few of our bridal party were not there because they were not flying in til Friday. Although I had wished they could be there, I don't think it is totally necessary that they be there if they can't. All they have to do is walk down the isle, which they really don't need to practice. I think you should definiteley do it on Thursday, regardless if they can make it in or not because Friday night is tough being that you'll be up very early on Saturday and if you do it Friday afternoon, there are going to be people that have to work and won't be able to make it. Don't go crazy, because there will never be a perfect time for everyone!!

we have the same situation with a saturday morning wedding. but having the RD earlier then friday would exclude 7 bridal party people and FI's parents. (all live out of state) i could not ask them to all take off two days of work, they are already taking one off. the way i look at it, most of us aren't going to sleep anyway. and the RD will be over by 10 the latest for those who are planning on getting some Zzzzzzz's!!
