My wedding is on a friday would it be weird to have the Rehersal Dinner on wednesday. The thing is that the only time for thursday is at 8:30 by the time everyone shows up and runs through the program it will be 9:30. I really do not wnat to have dinner at that time because it will probably end up a late night. Which i really do not want to stay up late.
Are you ladies having your RD a day before the big day?

I don't think it would be weird to have it on Wed. I was in one of my BM wedding and she had the RD 3 days before the wedding, and FH was just in a wedding and they had it on a Thurs. for a Sat. wedding.

I'm getting married on a Friday (Holy crap, it's this Friday!!!) We're having our ceremony at the hall so we're not having a rehearsal but I did plan a Pre-Wedding dinner for Thursday night at 8:00 PM. I kept the time late to accommodate work schedules, I kept the place simple and casual so no one has to worry about dressing up and I plan for everyone to be home and in bed by 11:30!

I'm getting married on a Sunday, and the ceremony there as well. They do not do rehersals. we will go to dinner that Saturday aroung 5pm. I don't want to be up late.

I'm getting married on a Friday and my rehearsal at the church is on Wed so we will be going to dinner after that. We planned it like that for the same reason we didn't want to be out late the night before the wedding.

Since the time in so late why don't you do an earlier dinner if you really want to do one. YOu can go out to dinner at 6 close to where the rehersal will be & then be at the rehersal by 8:30. Just a thought

i don't think that would be weird. you have it when you can. it's just more traditional to have it the night before but not necessary

Our wedding is on a Friday. Rehearsal: Tuesday. 6pm at the church. Church schedule wasn't too flexible. Hoping my MOH & 1 BM have to come to Long Isl from the city - hoping they get to the church on time. If not, I will not sweat it...I will not sweat it...

My wedding is on a Saturday and the rehearsal dinner is the Wednesday before...I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
