There are not many places near my church that we can have our RD. How close should the RD be?

I don't think you need to be right near where the church is. Go where you want to have a nice dinner. If it's 25-30 minutes away, so be it.

My RD will be close to the church, but that's because it's a great restaurant and it's also close to where I'll be staying that night (I'm gonna be lazy and request I don't have to drive far). But I think it all depends on the individual couple.

My RD is in the same town as the church but I would recommend to keep it as close as possible - Don't want people getting lost

my church is in farmingville too! we are either going to have the rd at my parents house in bellport about 10-15 mins away or at a restaurant. what about looking in holbrook for places? its not too far from farmingville-or even going north to middle country and north ocean....is there anything up there?
