I getting married on a Thursday, should I have my RD on the Wed or the weekend before? My fam and Bms from OOT should be here by then and I want to be able to stay late at my RD seeing as thought it will prob be more like a bbq than a sit down dinner.

If your family and Bridal party will all be in in town by then, have it the weekend before so that you can actually enjoy yourself.

if everyone will be in town by then, have it on the weekend! i would find out when everyone is definitely coming before you mention it tho to make sure you don't make anyone feel like they need to rush and take more days off!

i personally do not like when RD are during the week. because i am too tired after work to have to go home shower, get dressed up, etc.
since your wedding is during the summer & you plan on having more of a BBQ type of thing, i think the weekend before would be better.

personally bbq feel to me is perfect for a weekend. you just wanna thank the ppl closest to you, kick back and chill for a minute. i wouldnt stress yourself w the wednesday before
plus if its on the wknd you can eat a bit more w/o worrying about your dress the NEXT day!!! (not like you really need to worry anyway)
