RD

I am pissed months ago over the summer FMIL said that her and FFIL would be paying for the RD but now when FH had spoken to her she lives in FL and will be coming to NY over the weekend, said she has NO IDEA she said that. ***!!!! She had mentioned it over the summer and while we were engaged like a little while after we had gotten engaged that FIL would be paying for the RD and now NO Fh and I can't pay for that and my family is paying for much already. I know FMIL is paying for my shower but what the hell so angry right now.

Since your FIL's went back on their word & your family is paying for enough already, if you & FH don't have the money to pay for it yourselves, you don't have to have one. Although they're nice... it's definitely not necessary.
