Is there a rule that you have to have a RD? I don't think we will be able to have one but hoping of getting the bp together for a small gathering if I can squeeze that in. My place is so small

Are you getting married at your site? If so, you probably won't even have a real rehearsal until the day of your wedding. If you're getting married in a church you'll probably have a rehearsal, but I don't think a formal dinner is a must-do.
Maybe someone in your BP would be willing to offer their place? You could always do something easy and casual, like a pot luck.

I think it's a good idea to get together with your BP the night before. Just to thank them and relax a bit with them. It can be something so easy and casual. If you place is too small you could always take them out for pizza or something inexpensive. They'll appreciate the gesture.

We're getting married at our venue, so we won't even have a real rehearsal, but I'm hoping we can do something fun and simple just to get everyone together. Maybe I can bribe everyone into coming to a Mets game with me! lol
