RD advice!

RD advice!

My best friend's little sister is in my bridal party as a bridesmaid. She is 12 years old.

My friend, her HUSBAND (EEK!) and her sister will obviously be invited to my rehearsal dinner. Do you think that I should invite her parents as well?

Thanks!

I don't think you NEED to. She can come with her sister and DH.

BUT, if you want to, I don't think there is anything wrong with it!

I think because she so young you should,,,except that she could come with her sister

1) can you afford to have to extra people there
2) do you think they will b e hurt if they arent
3) will it bother you if you dont invite them>

I don't think it's necessary, but then again I'm going to ATTEMPT to keep the guest list for the rehersal as minimal as possible because with just including the people taking part in the ceremony with their significant others it comes to around 25 people!

If you can afford to have 2 extra people I would invite them.

good questions!
1. we are paying for it ourselves ( WHAT IS UP WITH THAT! but oh well that is for another post.) so i want to keep the number down
2. their daughter is an 07 bride so i think that they would be okay with it if i talked to them about it - thye understand wedding stress
3. i love them but they will be at the shower and wedding etc.

i just wanted to make sure that it wasnt considered 'rude' not to invite them

I don't think you have to and with them just being through a wedding I am sure they will completely understand.

ETA: They may be happy not to be invited and enjoy a dinner alone without their pre-teen around!
