Last minute budget restrictions may have us do the RD at The Olive Garden. It's super inexpensive and since it's just immediate family, we don't feel the need to impress. Anyone have theirs there? or anytype of function?

I will be having mine there. Its one of our favorite restaurants. It is really reasonable.

I wanted to ahve mine there, but since i was doing it on Friday, they wouldn'ot allow me. But Sassy said hers was great, and they have two different menus to choose from. I say go for it.

I am also wondering why the Olive Garden wouldn't let you have it on a Friday??? That's strange.
I'm so glad that everyone likes it! I do to...but when I mentioned it to others, they were like 'oh, the Olive Garden.' Hey, we'll have it at the McDonald's drive through if we want and you'll have to like it! Ha Ha just kidding, but come on it's a free meal and just a little something before the big event.

Why not?? The food is good, the atmosphere is casual, and there seems to be plenty of room! Go for it!

We had FSIL's bridal shower there (the one in Centereach) we had a back area to ourselves and a choice of two entrees, bottomless salad a lots of breadsticks!! Plus soda, coffee, tea. It was nice. Another FSIL is having her RD there next month.

Forgot to add....I had originally wanted my RD to be at Applebee's (cuz that is where it all started....) and we eat there all the time, but FFIL wanted it somewhere else.....so I repeat, do what makes you happy!
