RD dilema

good thing my FMIL brought up the RD last night cause way back when we all discussed about having it simple and at they're house. now last night my FFIL snaps and says 'I DON'T WANT IT HERE'. I was very offended and upset but i didn't say anything only that 'I'll do research tomorrow'. after FI and I got into the car to leave i told him that his father was very nasty with his answer and how it bothered me. made me feel like my family and i were not welcome in his home. my FI was mad too and is at the point of not even inviting his own father cause all his father does is beeyotch about everything.

anyhoo-any ideas of decent price places. we live in and getting married in merrick. so maybe a place with 10 miles or so.

sorry you are upset... that stinks. why doesn't he want people at the house? maybe there is a reason that has nothing to do with you/your family. i thought about doing ours at my parents house (FH's parent's live out of state), but then realized it would put a lot of stress on my parents to have people at the house and then have to take care of getting the house ready for the next day. they're happy it will be out at a restaurant.

sorry - i don't know any restaurants in that area.
