So i wanted to schedule our RD the night before the wedding, i know it would be hectic, but i felt more people would be able to go. The priest and FH talked me out of it, so we scheduled it for the Sunday before. So we sent an email out to get a head count so we have a better idea when we book a restaurant, and so far my MOH, a reader, my Jr BM, FG and RB, two BMs and their husbands will not be able to make it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
did this happen to anyone else??????? that no one could make it????

Can you possibly have it one day during the week? Like a Wednesday night? We had ours Wednesday night at 6:30 PM and it was just fine. I was extremely happy to have a day of rest between the RD and the wedding.

we're doing our RD the night before. to be honest, i've never been invited to a wedding where the RD wasn't the night before.

out of personal experience, I wouldn't have it the night before. This happened to me this past weekend.
My friend had the church rehearsal Thursday night, the RD Friday night in Hauppauge from 7-11, then we had to be up at 7am for hair and makeup....
it was very hectic and I was honestly exhausted all weekend. Try to maybe make it 2 or 3 days before.

ours was wednesday too. unfortunately 2 OOT BMs couldnt make it - but everyone else did! and i was definitely happy it was not the night before!

the priest wont let me do it during the week.......... i've never heard of this either! i have always been to rehearsals that were during the week, after work.
and everyone that said no, is going on vacation.......
i just asked my MOH (her whole family is in my wedding) to change her plans. the kids (JrBM, FG and RB) HAVE to be there!!!! they have NO idea what they are doing!!

i would tell your priest the dilemma. maybe he can make an except
also, fyi, for my rehearsal, the priest wasnt there. it was a church coordinator

i seriously have smoke coming out of my ears right now....
he was so against it when we were in the meeting... ill have to see if my MOH can change her plans first before i turn into a bridezilla...
