RD Help!

I have no idea where to have our RD...our church is in the Mineola area. We looked at Jonathans and IMO its over priced for what you are getting. Anybody have any other suggestions please!!! TIA

I really like Mim's in Roslyn. We go there a lot for work and everyone seems to like it. I like the atmosphere there also...

I'll let you know if I think of anything else... It is tough, I know. I had mine at La Viola in Syosset and everyone liked the food... We did 'family style' which can cut down on costs... Wait, I know Jo had hers at Piccolo Bussolo on Jericho Tpke in Mineola. The food was great and she served Family Style also. I would try there! Good luck!!!!!!!!!

The Davenport is really nice. It's on Main st.

I know...my friend had her shower there and my other friend had her RD there...I kind of didn't want to have it there because of that...I know thats dumb

There's another place, the Ivy Cottage, on Jericho Tpke. They're kind of pricey too, though. Piccola Bussola has great food and is reasonable. Allan and I had dinner at Johathan's after pre-cana ended that Saturday and said we'd probably have it there.

Yes, you're right, that place is a bit small. Have you considered Waterzooi or Victory? About how many people are you having? There's also a really nice place on 7th St. in Garden City.. I think it's called the 7th St. Cafe.

Ok, I will give it some more thought. We had a gathering of about 30 people not too long ago, at Vincent's. I have to say, although I'm not usually a huge fan of Vincent's, the meal was superb and the price was ridiculously low.

I was also going to say Piccola Bussola, I went to a little party in the back room and it was great. The food is excellent!

What about 7th Street Cafe in Garden City? There is also Nick & Maggies on Union Tnpk I dont know how far you want to go..thats prob like 15 mins tops from Mineola.

Waterzooi is one of my favorite restaurants. There's also Victory, The Bar Association, there's also a small italian restaurant that I can't remember the name of and their food is good too.
