yes, i learned after mailing out my save the dates, which had FHs name first, that yes the womens name always goes first. something about not separating the guy from his last name.
btw even when you sign any type of card (birthday, thank you, etc) your name always goes first. for example mine will always be read, Christine & Christopher.
the only time his name is on something is when its, Mr. & Mrs. Christopher C.
(& yes both of our first names start with a C & so does our last name)
