1. How did you let people know about it? Send invites, word of mouth, made phone calls to everybody...
2. And if you sent invites, how were they instructed to RSVP back? Phone, email...

Re: RD invites??
FILs are hosting the RD. I think we are going to verbally spread the word. I'll find out which of my side is attending and FH will do the same. Phone and email contact will probably serve as our invitation. But we do want to minimize the number of non-bridal party guests that are attending (the restaurant holds 43 people and we had to invite 46). So...I have to find a way to tactfully invite all members with guests...with a slight hope that some go solo.....how f'ed up is that!!!! I'm so nervous about it, I have a hard time thinking about invites. But I'd like to hear what the rest of the 08ers are doing for this.

Re: RD invites??
An evite is good for the bp but if you are inviting older family members I would call.

Re: RD invites??
I really only know the answer to question 1 and that is to formally send an invite...
It can be home made...doesn't have to be so fancy, but it takes out the guesswork for your bridal party and lets OOT guests know in advance
I would think people could just call to RSVP

Re: RD invites??
We just sent an email to everyone. We only have about 25 people coming so I didn't think it was necessary to send formal invites... we just asked people to let us know if they or their significant other could NOT attend. Worked out fine!

Re: RD invites??
We're only have BP w/ SO and immediate family.... word of mouth. I was going to do invites, but there's only about 20 people.. not worth the aggravation (sorry if that sounds b*tchy)
