Are they necessary? How soon before do you send them? How much do they cost?

I'm ordering mine online. www.paperstyle.com has a grat selection. I'm sending them out in August. My wedding is in October.

i just went to CVS and got general invites and then filled out the info. It was a really casual dinner at my parents house.

you can send Evites ...we got one ofr a rehersal dinner and it was really cute you can customize the wording and backround

No they aren't necessary but are nice.

We are sending ours out the 4 weeks in advance.

We are DIYing them so they cost about 60 bucks for 40 invites.

I did them bc the RD is to practice but IMO its also to thank the BP for all they ahve done. So I decided to make it formal with an invite!

Thanks for addressing this question. I was wondering what was protocol as well. I may just go to ac moore or michaels and print my own as well
