RD location in Hauppauge Area?

I know my wedding isnt for 10 months, but my FMIL has aunts in her pants and wants to start calling places.

Being that we are both in Maryland, and I am not EXTREMELY familiar with Hauppauge I figured I would ask you girls.

I already looked at the website for Pomodorino's and FH doesnt think it will be 'fancy' enough for her. (At the same time they dont want to spend a ton of money, go figure!)

We are probably looking at around 40 ppl.

Any ideas?

ETA: They were leaning towards Italian but are flexible!

we are doing pomodorinos...and I agree it is not fancy...but there is a private room and it is really close to the hyatt. One problem we had is that we are having a sunday wedding and sat rehersal dinner...and a lot of restaurant wont book large parties on a sat night. Good luck though....Polinis is very good.

Sweet Water is an excellent choice. Also look at Butterflies or ButterFields (something like that) on Old Willets Path in Hauppauge.

We had ours in Pomodorino's Garden Room---it was really nice and quaint and food was excellent. I wanted it to be less formal than the wedding anyway.
