RD Location in Oyster Bay area

RD Location in Oyster Bay area

I'm looking for a place in the Oyster Bay/Syosset area for our RD. Trying to spend about $20 a person. Anyone have any ideas? It's for about 20-25 people.

I'm not sure how fancy you would like it to be but if you are looking for something more on the casual side, there's a place called Tabby's right in the village (kind of like a greek/burger/etc. place). I think they might have a private room. I haven't been there in a while but I just remember that their salad was awesome!

I think Tabby's closes early (like 9 or 9:30). It's for a thursday night and the church doesn't begin until 7:15, so I'm thinking like an 8:30 reservation.

Hi Jenn - I am from Oyster Bay also!
Let's see - how about trying

Angelina's - they were giving my mother prices starting at $25pp at Angelina's (in the Blueberry's plaza)
MaidMaine Inn on Rte. 106
Cafe AlDente - Downtown
The Homestead, Dowtown has a great backroom - I have been to bridal showers and a baby shower there
As for Syosset - try LaViola on Jackson Ave or Casserinos by the RR station should be in your price range.

Are you getting married at St. Dom's?

Yes I am getting married at St. Dom's. Where did you go to HS?

I love the Homestead, but my FMIL had a bad experience there last year on Mother's Day with the service and doesn't want to go there again. I think the Main Maid Inn might be more than what she wants to spend. Maybe I'll check out Angelinas. I'll also call the 2 places in Syosset...thanks for your help.

Just an FYI to Oyster Bay/Syosset ladies. The Homestead has been closed for about 2 months. They now have new owners and are scheduled to open around April 12th (I think that is what the sign in the window said). I don't think that Tabby's is the best for a RD. They have a back area but it really isn't private. I would try Angelina's. Only problem there is parking but shouldn't be too bad on a Thursday night.
