Anyone know of any decently priced restaurants near the Viana hotel that would be good for a RD dinner? Anything in Jericho/Westbury would be ideal.

I have been on the same hunt!
The most reasonable I have found is in E.Williston. Which isn't thaaaaaaaat far. It's called Gino's It's a pizzarea...but they have a seperate room for events. It was very nice actually. I was really not trying pay over $30 per person....or FH parents pay rather
Are you looking for somewhere with a private room...or a section of a restaurant? Any specific type of food?

I know exactly what place your talking about- I haven't thought of trying there! Were their prices around $30pp?
We are looking for a private room, but at this point would be okay with a section of a restaurant. Italian food would probably be best.
Are you doing your block with Viana too?

I loved the hotel (from photos..lol) But I ended up going with the Hampton Inn because it was $30 cheaper...and my OOT guest will be staying 2-3 nights so wanted to save as much money as possible for them. I was going to stay there the night of the wedding since the suites were so nice...but we decided it would be best to wake up with the family and have a brunch right there in the hotel where they have a seperate room we can rent for super cheap and just cater the brunch.
As far as gino's . They had two options. They had a buffet options where you order by dish (which I think we are going to do...it gives us variety and keeps cost down by doing that) Or a sit down price...one option was like $35 which already incl tax and gratuity. That is good...but for 35 people I think it ends up being more money for us. I have never actually eaten the food...but there were two parties going on...so I'm guessing not horrible food.
They have pics on their website of the room. It is big...and has a soundsystem for music. So I think that's what we are going to do...seems the best and reasonable price for a private room so far
