FMIL asked me to get her a list of restaurants so she can start calling and inquiring about booking our RD. Our church is in Mineola, so restaurants in that area would be best. The only one I know of so far is Paparazzi right on Jericho Tpke just East of Glen Cove Road. FBIL said good things about it.

We'll probably be doing ours at Heart of Portugal. It's like my favorite restaurant and they have a separate party room downstairs. But, also good food is Davenport Press. Fh's cousin had his there in their upstairs room.
cafe formaggio on old country road. 33.95 PP, with dessert.

La Parma (Family Style Italian) in Williston Park is yummy, also Uncle Bacala's (Italian), Orchid (Chinese), Newport Grille (Steakhouse), & Charlie Brown's (Steakhouse)

We just ate at Papa Razzi the other night....we've NEVER had a bad experience.

I'm not sure what type of atmosphere you're looking for, or a price range, but here are a few places:
Grimaldi's Brick Oven Pizza - in Garden City on Franklin Ave
The St. James - in Mineola on 1st Street, it's a pub/restaurant
Eleanor Rigby's - in Mineola on Mineola Blvd, it's also a pub/restaurant
And then the other places I know of that are good have already been named - Papa Razzi, La Parma, Jonathan's, Uncle Bacala's.

Oh I forgot to mention that we had my cousins baby shower at the Davenport Press in january and the food was VERY good. Service a tiny bit slow but they were very busy.

Does that location have a private room? I know the one in Huntington is super tiny and I don't think they have a private party room. Just curious. Thanks!
