I absolutely love Buteras. It's my favorite Italian restaurant. It's on merrick road in the shopping center across from massapequa high school. There are two separate restaurants, a cafe, and the main place. Both are excellent and are right next door to each other.
I think you'll like it, go to dinner their with your FH some time

Paddy's Loft on Hicksville Road... Irish pub and restaurant with a separate dining area. The food is good too!

I agree,,,,,,,,I prefer the Cafe though.

Also, there is a really cute restaurant in Amityville called Chesters. I was there the other night and really liked it, the food was great. It's on Broadway in Amityville.

I went to a rehersal at Sidekicks last summer and that was really nice too. We had a separate room which was great.

I am having mine at Villa D'Avanzo in Amityville-- it has really good Italian food and it is really inexpensive-- we are paying 25.pp for a complete 3-4 course dinner plus unlimited beer, wine, and soda. I priced alot of places and this one was by far the best price in the Massapequa/Amityville area. Butera's only does day parties if you want a seperate room. I checked there first b/c I love their food too!

Butera's is great and and also Vittorios in Amityville. I am not sure how far you want to travel from Massapequa but Starfish in Merrick and The Carriage House in West Babylon are two of my favorites.

SHUT UP!!!!!!!!

I bought his CD and have been listening to it at work all week! He was amazing! You'll be seeing me at Sidekicks on Thursdays. Every song he played I loved. Your MIL was my library teacher at St. Rose for years. So funny.
