Ok..what is the point of a rehersal dinner. I mean I know you rehearse what is suppose to happen the day of the wedding but is the point of the dinner really just to hang out with intimate family members and to give out presents and toasts?? How much time of the RD is to actually rehearse??

Re: RD question
I think 15 minutes is about average... At the most 30 minutes.
I've been to many many rehearsals, none over 20 minutes I don't think.
But then again, I've only been to one in NY...so who knows.

Re: RD question
I think the actual rehearsal is like 20 minutes at the wedding site then everybody involved in the ceremony meets somewhere else just for dinner, toasts, and giving gifts. Kinda like an intimate party before the big bash the next day!
