we are having our ceremony at the hotel we are having our reception, so i had asked my BM about our rehearsal dinner
she said that there's no need for a rehearsal because all they are doing is walking down the aisle
i guess she's right, but i thought it would be weird to have a rehearsal dinner without a rehearsal
is anyone doing this?

Re: RD question
Many people on this board are doing dinner without the reception. It is literally impossible to have a rehearsal if you are getting married on-site because there are back to back weddings going on.

Re: RD question
If you aren't doing a rehearsal maybe call the dinner something else like a bridal party dinner or thank you dinner or something like that?

Re: RD question
We're not having a formal rehearsal...just a run though before the ceremony. We are having a dinner the night before for OOTers

Re: RD question
I went to a RD where there was no rehearsal when the wedding was at the RH....You can call it a Thank you dinner....or pre wedding dinner...whatever you want

Re: RD question
i've been to 3 rehearsal dinners with no actual rehearsal. Thats what people do when they are getting married at the reception location. Its totally fine.
