Are any of you not having it at a place? We were thinking abotu it, and since ours would be Aug 30, we were thinking of having it at FH's house like a backyard party and getting it catered. This way it saves his parents a lot of money, and we dont have to worry about leaving a place or paying per head...anyone else do this?? thoughts?

My friend did hers at her husbands sister's house...it was great! very comfortable and we all hung out on her deck...love this idea!
We would have done it at my house but fh and family don't think its fair to my parents because of the wedding the next day etc.

I think its a great idea! If my parents house could hold the amount of people we were inviting, I would have definitely had a BBQ in the backyard!

I am not 100% sure if i will have it at a Restaurant... I think perhaps we will do it at home OR a Park... We will be the ones paying for it so we dont have so much money to pay $35pp at a restaurant...

we arent having an official RD. We are having immeidate family over FIL's house most likely like the thurs night before our sunday wedding
