RD Questions...

RD Questions...

FMIL is asking my details about the RD that I dont have... Who exactly do you invite? Am I expected to invite all family or just hte ppl in the BP? I just feel like if we invite everyone in the family that would be like 80 ppl - I dont want to ask them to shell out that much money.

In short - Who gets invited?

You can do it any way you want. However, it is usually at least:

Parents
Bridal Party
Grandparents
Siblings
Anyone else who has a part in your wedding ceremony (readings, etc)

For us, that's over 50 people already so we'll probably stop there. However, if you are so inclined, many people include OOT guests also as a way of thanking them for making the trip.

We can't afford to have all of our OOT guests because we have so many but some people opt for this as well.

I agree. Sometimes aunts and uncles, too. But it's usually just immediate family and people in the BP or otherwiseinvolved in the ceremony.

We are having immediate family (which includes the BP) and OOT family. And also some friends of my parents who are OOT.

In total it adds up to 60 people. We havea lot of OOT guest form Ireland though so we HAVE to invite them because most of them have never been to America and we can't leave them alone
