RD questions

Who gets invited to the Rehearsal Dinner?????

Here's what I have in mind right now:

Bridal Party plus significant others
and our closest family members

Totals to about 35 people - is that a typical number for the RD?

Also - if one of our brothers (in the BP) doesn't not have a girlfriend at the time, do we still need to invite them plus guest to the RD, or only extend that invite to people in long-standing relationships? (my one brother has been dating a girl for more than 2 years now -so do I invite her?)

AND - all the places we've checked into has a price per person, and then you can pay another $12 to 15 per person for unlimited soda, beer and wine. Is it worth it to do that, or have the bartender keep a tab and pay that after the RD is over? (I don't anticipate a lot of heavy drinking - a couple of glasses of wine or beer per person)

TIA!

Re: RD questions

invite everyone in the BP with a guest.
also, its courtesy to extend an invite to any out of town guests that will be attending your wedding.

i agree with the oot guests..
and you could ask the places if you can start with a tab, and if the tab goes higher than the pp for the unlimited switch to that price-thats what im doing for my e-party

I don't think we're going to have any other OOT guests that'll be here then.

Wedding is Friday, and rehearsal is Wed. night - people are getting here on thursday.

so bridal party plus significant others and close family - right?

Yes you should be fine with that. If your group aren't heavy drinkers....run a tab.
