RD shoes!!!

So I am wearing a really chic, somewhat casual white linen Vera Wang dress for my RD. Because it has black accents, I was going to wear my high peep-toe black shoes. However, I am having second thoughts bc I know I will be in heels for HOW many hrs the next day at the wedding?!?! So I want to go with something a bit lower. I'm thinking these adorable Gucci shoes could be great with my dress.... Like??

i'm sorry but i don't think they go with that dress at all. i think the black peep toes will be much better! plus, you will be sitting and eating at the rd so you don't really need to worry about being on your feet too much there

well all my aunts and uncles are invited, as well as FH's aunts and uncles (he has 14 of them!!) so i will need to be socializing. not to mention FH's 4 grandparents, our siblings with some spouses, our BPs, so it's going to be on the larger side, 44 in total. so i will need to be up and about. plus, i have a broken toe and i'm really nervous it won't be 100% healed the day of, so i'm being extra conscious of not wearing high heels. i don't want to set it off. the dress and the shoes are both off-white, the only problem is the tan part on the gucci shoes, but quite honestly, i'd rather save my toes than worry about an exact match.

ITA.. I would look for something lower that matches more with the dress. I think the tan part is throwing me off. It makes the dress more casual then dressy. JMO. I love the dress btw. :) its perfect!!:)

ehh if i have the time, i will look for a lower black shoe. i totally get what you mean about the tan part but it's actually so small when you have it all together, it's just that these pictures are very close up. i'll probably be lazy and wear these shoes anyway lol... i've always loved them so i dont care all that much. theyre soooo comfortable and with my toe problem, they're a decent option. and i'll steam the rubbon and re-thread it so it will be bigger and cover up most the tan. but i appreciate the honesty!
