Donovan's in Bayside, right next to the train station, they have a really nice room in the back that they use for parties. I am thinking of having mine there.

Monohans's is right by Donovan's and is much more reaosnable price and they have a private room also.
Gino's across tequila Sunrise has a private room.
Cascarino's on Bell may be able to accomodate you for your RD in their upstairs room.
Plum Lounge in Bayside
Bourbon Street On Bell has a private room.

Here are a couple of suggestions other than the ones mentioned .. not all of these have a private room but they can section off areas:
If you are willing to go to Douglaston/Little Neck/Great Neck there are many more, to name a few good Italian places (i believe they all have rooms).

where is Il Tuscano? is there parking? parking by bell blvd is a nightmare... i hate parking everymorning at the train station.. i wouldnt do that to my family lol

Are you willing to try Whitestone also? My church is in Flushing but I live in Whitestone so I was considering anywhere in the Flushing/Whitestone/Bayside area and the LIWers gave me a few ideas....
Il Vesuvio in Whitestone on 12th and 149th street Il Nocello on 150th st near the post office Piccolo Natale near Verdi's in Whitestone Castel Mare on Utopia Pkway Il Faggiano also on Utopia Pkwy.

Il Vesuvio and Castel Mare have small parking lots.
It's easy to park near Il faggiano even though they don't have a lot and also Piccolo Natale isn't hard to find parking in the street.....the area is residential so parking isnt bad.
Il Nocello might be the most difficult bc it's in a busier area.

I had my engagement party at Gino's on Bell Blvd and 35th. Booked the entire upstairs and they're great. Also, I love Il Bacco on Northern Blvd. I'm a regular there and they have amazing food!

We are most likely going to use Plum (FH has never been so we are going there for dinner tonight!). They have great prices and are really accommodating not to mention the food is really good. I went to a communion party there and they did a wonderful job.

also.. i am just wondering... is there any family style resturants near by?
FH was thinking of just doing it @ Piccolo Buscola in Mineola... which i love but i feel like thats just a pain for everyone to drive all the way out there, especially for my cousins that are comming from upstate.

Il Bacco is really good, and theres also a really yummy small Italian place on Northern in Little Neck called Conti thats delicious. Vespa in great neck like someone else mentioned is also great.
And then there's always the restaurant pubs that others mentioned for non italian places, donovans which i just walked past the other day and the renovations look great (i havent been there in ages so this is prob not be a new thing) and bourbon street (also recently renovated).

donovans has free valet parking and a lot , we r having ours there. great prices check out website has everthing on it.. monhans across teh street has even better prices and you get a cute room upstairs
