RD suggestions in Garden City, 5 towns, Mineola, and there abouts

I've already called:

7th Street Cafe
Riverbay Seafood & Grille Bar
Davenport Press Restaurant

I'm just trying to get a few more options!

I went to Legal Seafoods right next to the movie theater in Roosevelt Field. It's been around for years but just opened that location. My hubby and I loved it. Beautiful decor and the food was yummy.

I was just looking in that area- then settled in Roslyn

A couple of other places in GC-- that were recco'd:
Napa & Sonoma
Victory
Waterzooie

I asked my Banquet Manager at the Carltun to recommend a couple of other places too- she mentioned some italian restaurant on Ellison near the source-- I forget the name..

Ours is at Papparazi in Westbury. The food is awesome.

ok I'm working my way through these - I called Paparazzi - my party is too small. I want to avoid just ordering off the menu, b/c I want to cap my costs.

I'll try the others now.

I've never been to that actual one, but there is a Mama Theresas in Garden City Park on Jericho Turnpike. I have been to the ones in Levittown and Westbury and the food is amazing. Neither of those have party rooms though, and like I said, I've never been to that one so I am not sure if they do either. But it's sooooo good- might be worth calling!!

Napa and Sonoma in Garden City- we had our engagement party there. The food is amazing!!

The food @ Victory is very good. - They have a great bar as well !

I had my shower at Jonathan's in Garden City Park on Jericho Tpke. I love it there and feel that it's reasonable.

I also love Jonathan's- the food is fantastic. My brother, who is a chef recommended the St. James in Mineola, and I am going to go and check it out myself.

As for Mama Theresa's on Jericho Turnpike, I love the food, but it is a noisy place and no party room, so it might not be the best spot for a RD, JMO. Try it for dinner, though
