FH and I kinda forgot about booking a place for the RD. We're expecting around 40-50 people and would like a place near Holbrook - Hauppauge - Brentwood area. We were looking for Chinese/Thai food, but at this point, any suggestions would be helpful. Preferably a place that has a private room. tia!

Jade Garden (Chinese) in Hauppauge is really good, not sure if it has a private room tho.

aw man, they're not available.....and i just called a couple of other places, and they can't accomodate/aren't available either....i hope we didn't wait too long

Its not chinese/tai but I went to a RD at the brick house brewery (Patchouge) and they had a private room, I thought the food was good, and it had a nice bar. Plus the regular bar if you wanted to stay and hang out after the RD

north babylon is a tad far, but i'll definitely keep it in mind.
the brickhouse brewery sounds great!!, but it's the same type of food that'll be served the next day. I'll mention it to FH and see what he says.

What about Gasho? I also think my cousin had something at a china buffet in Ronkonkoma on Hawkins Rd. but I don't know the name of it. We had ours at the Irish Coffee Pub and it was great. Totally not chinese but I just thought I would throw that out there.
