Hey ladies...our RD is this Saturday and I was just wondering...are me and FH supposed to give a toast? Or is someone else suppposed to?? I'm (obviously) clueless...thank you in advance!!!!!

I don't know the 'proper etiquette' but at my brother's RD, my dad welcomed everyone (my parents hosted) and then my brother said a short thank you to everyone

FH & I plan to give the toast, well actually I do b.c. FH did spoke at our e-party thanking everyone so I plan to do it at the RD

Fh & I are giving the RD toast the night before the wedding.
BM & MOH are doing the reception toast.
I am more nervous for their toast than I am for the RD toast. FH is making me write it days ahead of time so he can memorize it!!!!

DH's dad spoke a little since his parents hosted the event, and then we spoke and did all out thank yous to everyone and gave out our gifts

i think its a toss up between the host of the party and the bride and groom.
at my brother's my mom gave a toast since she hosted the party
at ours I am going to give a toast (since I love giving toasts) and also FH and I are hosting

at my cousins wedding i think both dads spoke and then they opened up the mic for anyone else and it was nice to hear from some of their BP and other family members. Not sure what we'll do yet, I can't pciture anyone besides my dad wanting to get up and speak.

at my friend's wedding her sister (MOH) gave the toast, then at the wedding, her father gave the toast
for mine, the best man will give toast at wedding and i will either ask the dads if they want to toast or FH and I will toast
