No, I think that its fine. Are you having a ringbearer? If you are she can walk with him. Otherwise you could have her walk with her mom. I am sure her mom would be proud to walk with her down the aisle. It would still be very cute and sweet.

My FG is going to be a month away from turning 3! My RB is 4 and has been in a few weddings so he is the ringbearer expert now. I have been setting it up for them to play together lately so they get to know eachother and hopefully she will be OK walking with him

I do not think 3 is too young... are you having more than one FG...then they could walk together... you may want to have her mom walk down next to her since at 3 and a half she may get nervous the day of in front of all those people...

3 is not too young, but ti depends upon the 3 year old....
Walking her in with her mother is a good idea. It'll also help her walk into the reception. Walking down the aisle in a ceremony is one thing (the people are seated and quiet), but walking into a reception could be terrifying for a little kid. All those people standing and cheering with loud music playing...
I'm not concerned about my FG in the church, but I am about her walking into the reception.
C'est la vie!

My 10 1/2 y.o. future stepdaughter is my Jr. BM and his niece is my FG (3yo). I am having them walk together.

Re: IS 3 TOO YOUNG TO BE A FLOWERGIRL?
Our FG was about 2 1/2 at the time of our wedding. I didn't really have bridesmaids, so we had her mom (SIL) get a dress like my sister's (MOH) and walk her down as the 'assistant flower girl'.

No 3 is a great age for a FG.

Re: IS 3 TOO YOUNG TO BE A FLOWERGIRL?
I think it depends on the child's personality more than her age. My nephew was 3 when I got married and he wouldn't have made it down the aisle as a ringbearer without having a temper tantrum. I know other children his age would have done fine, though. Talk to the parents to see what they think. Good luck!

I think that's a little too old for FG. You should make her a Jr. BM

i think 11 depends on the girl...... does she look like a child still and shorter, if she is taller and looks changing then id probably say a junior bm.....imo
