I've done searches and found some info on all of these DJs but I want ot make sure before I make appointments and drive all the way out to LI.

Bravura
FM Entertainment
Starlight Express
High Voltage
LI Sound

I met with Bravura. They are very nice and professional and offer a lot, but they are on the expensive side.

I wound up going with Dance Jock, who I love dealing with so far, but they can be a little more than some other djs. especially depending on what you want. FM if you want more details

We are using FM Entertainment as well as a friend of ours. Bravura and LI Sound we didnt choose b/c they stalked us. They kept calling and emailing us. It was like enough already. FM is the way to go!

We booked with Spin Around Sound. Tom White is the owner - what a fantastic guy and so energetic - we actually booked him personally as our MC - and the prices were great too!

I booked with Starlight Express... The Fh & are big into music... To us that was the most important part of the wedding... They have the best equipment around...When i went to their showcase a few weeks ago I was like wowwww... They arent the cheapest but you get what you pay for... Def check them out

I've seen weddings by Tommy Tunes, High Voltage and both were good. I also love my DJ In the Mood!

I looked at Bravura, LI Sound, Fm Ent and Starlight Express and Starlight is the only one that I was like 'WOW'. They're a little pricey, but, they do have the best DJ equipment around. You get what you pay for.

I'm using FM and so far happy with them-- they had the best pricing for me. I've seen Tommy Tunes lately at a lot of bridal shows and they are also super nice.

i an using high voltage and i couldnt be happier!... i met with bravura (very expensive), fm entera tainment ( nice guys and reasonable), lisoulnd (little expensive, i met with a rep, not a dj...didnt like that... i also met with others...

but the bottom line....

vinny saved me 500 bucks off the bat without me even asking!! and i ended up coming in UNDER budget... plus i got a percussionist, 2 plasmas, zap shots, dinner montage and a gobo!!

he is also just down to earth!!!

I second Spin Around Sound. I contacted them through their website and within 2 days a packet was delivered with tons of info and the prices really are affordable.

They're especially good for anyone with an eclectic taste in music and those looking for out of the ordinary playlists.

You could try but A LOT of vendors aren't always readily available on the weekends on account of working other events.

We are working with Kevin from LI Sound. Our package includes a guitarist/vocalist for the ceremony and cocktail hour, DJ/MC, photo montage, zap shots, and lighting. $2900

i am using Xtreme sounds in commack . They did my friends wedding 2 years ago and were awesome!!! they are very nice to work with and the prices were decent

We are using Tommy Tunes. It is hard to give you prices because they have a lot of different packages depending on what you want.
