re-post BHB Hoop skirt help

hey girls

i have a jasmine ball gown with about 4 pick ups. 2 in the front and 2 in the back. i bought a mega skirt which looks great, BUT the front design looks a little flat. PLUS i was like 463 degrees while just trying it on. my wedding is outside in the middle of august.

from what i've read on the subject, hoop skirts were a success for those who chose them.

for anyone who has used them or will use them, can you post a pic or tell me pros and cons.

I used one- It really worked out nicely for me and I loved it (besides I didnt even sweat underneath my dress!!)

Pros- you get that ballgown effect, pick ups dont look 'deflated'

cons- most of them come with a string tied around your tummy I changed it to elastic and it may be a little harder to manuveur
