Re-post: Bridal shower planning help

What is your dream bridal shower? What are elements of past showers that you loved?

My mother and aunts are throwing my shower, but want my input. We are at the age where my friends and I have gone to/will be going to a zillion showers, and it's getting a little repetitive. How can I make mine unique? It is not going to be held in a home, definitely doing it out somewhere.

Why not do a cooking class one, i was interested in this but it is too much for the amount of people I want!! I think it would really be fun!!!!!

Ohh I didn't even think of that. Where would we do that? I am having about 75 guests, is that too many for this type of thing?

Yeah think so, might get messy and expensive!!!! Did you ever see DJ chef, he will go to venues, he's different!!! I know how you feel though, I don't want the typical either, it's boring!!!!

The best shower I went to wasn't like a shower at all. It was open bar and she had a DJ and cupcake tree. My older relatives were not in love with it, but I was!
