Re-post from 2010: Need some help

So I'm about to order those little jewelry pouches for my girls (see This is Adorable! thread on 2010 boards). But I have a question.

I have one BM that I haven't asked yet b/c she lives in Connecticut and I've been very hesitant on asking her. She's an old college roommate and I haven't seen her since last
Christmas (2007) but we speak every couple of months. When I got engaged, we were supposed to get together to celebrate, but she had to cancel. We never rescheduled. She wasn't able to make it to my e-party either. So I just feel like she hasn't been making much of an effort to meet me halfway (like in the city or something) to get together. So I've been debating on asking her. I'm still leaning towards asking her, but I want to do it in person.

Now the question is this........I want to order these pouches, so should I order her one? I ordered her a tote bag already, but those aren't personalized. The pouches will have the girls' first initials on them, so I won't be able to give to anyone else if things fall through.

Also, what do you think of giving these as part of a gift for ceremony readers if we get them a piece of jewelry also?

Are you able to order additional pouches at a later day? Or are you getting a package deal that would make sense to order them all now?

If you have to order now, I'd say just order it. It's one less thing to worry about later, especially if you're pretty sure that you're going to ask her.
