Re-post from TTC...should I be concerned about how faint the line is?
I took another test just now - I can't help myself. The line is still so faint. I am only 12 days past ovulation, but I'm using one of those First response tests that says it detects the hormone something like 9 days past ovulation. If that's the case, wouldn't the line be darker? I have a doctor's appointment later today to confirm with a blood test, but the faint line is concerning me.

They say a line is a line
I'm going through kind of the same issue and was told that the HCG levels may not be high enough in your body to register.
Good luck!

I to had really really light lines, I was about 10-12 days past ovulation. So I went and got one of those Clear Blue East Digital tests, and there was no mistake there, it says PREGANT!

A line is a line. I wouldn't worry you may have ovulated a day or so later than you thought and the HCG levels aren't high enough yet. I too had light lines, I also got a neg at the Drs office (urine test only).

I agree too! Congrats! You get a line because you are producing the pregnancy hormone!
