Yep and some people invite anyone else who's involved in the ceremony (readers, etc.) and also some invite OOT guests. We invited some other close family memebers....

we have us, parents and grandparents, bp and significant others, readers, and priest (he is traveling out of town to marry us, its the least we can do)

we're doing bp plus their significant others. Parents, readers, parents of fg, if we have any oot guests whch we wont have many.

FH and I are paying for it ourselves also... We are having 38 people... Im finding it the most stressful thing to find an inexpensive place to have it!!!

what do you consider inexpensive? we just booked ours; the price ranged from $29.95 without dessert and $33.95 with. Does not include alcohol - we are running a tab for it which will be cheaper than adding the $9 PP
I think we are having 18 adults and 6 kids, I'm only doing immediately family and the BP.

Well I wanted it to cost around $1500 but the I can't find anything less than $2500.
The big problem is I have 9 girls and 9 guys...plus readers.. blah blah blah.. so it's 38 people... PLUS...I definitely cannot run a tab... FH's family are BIG BIG DRINKERS!!!! We would have to take out a 2nd mortgage on our house if we ran a tab!! :)
I was quoted..$24.95 pp..then $2pp for cappucino and Espresso...$1.50 pp 'plate charge' for cake..and $12.95 pp wine and beer... PLUS $10 FOR CHILDREN UNDER 8!!!!

Our RD will be us, our parents, siblings, BP & significant others and the readers. We didn't invite any OOT guests b/c it would have been impossible to draw the line. We have 30 ppl as it is!

I am in the same exact boat...my most recent 'thing' was to ask a hotel what kind of package deal we can get if we book the RD, block 10 rooms, and have the Post-Nuptial Breakfast Buffet at the hotel. It depends on what they come back with....I am looking to pay less than $30 pp if possible so we will see...
