I was originally gonna wear it down, with only a small portion up and away from my face. With this humidity, I have been re-thinking it and wondering if I shouldn't wear it up, after all. I have a tiara though, and I KNOW I won't be comfy with it all up on the top of my head. Does anyone have pics of up-do's where it's lower down on the head (like more in the back of the head instead of on the top)?? Thanks in advance!
Edit: Okay, I have this 'look' in mind and I cannot find pics so maybe you girls can help! Have any of you seen those almost like 'Victorian era' hairstyles where it's almost all up but then there's one long strand or curl coming down over your shoulder??? I know I'm not explaining it well - sorry! I'm looking for something along those lines. I did a Google search for 'Victorian Era' hairstyles but that didn't work. Maybe I'm in the wrong era

Re: Re-thinking my wedding day hair
here a pic of mine, hair, not sure if you can tell, but mine all mostly in the back
Oooooh thanks! Was your head sore at the end of the night after you took it out? I remember my mom used to put my hair in high ponytails when I was little and after a couple of hours I was HURTING!!! I don't want that to happen on my wedding day. I actually just sent a MySpace msg to my hair girl asking her opinion and if she has any ideas. Thanks

Re: Re-thinking my wedding day hair
no my head didnt hurt at all, i think what hurt the most was my bm taking out over 100 bobbie pins from my hair, ( they werent really that gentle)
what if you do half up since you were originally thinking to wear it down? its a little of both and you can do so many things woth it half up
this is how i had my hair....maybe something like it will work for you it was really comfy, kept all night and kept me cool........... the sdes are all pulled back and then pinned and curled
are you thinking more like how elizabeth swans hair was in the pirates movies?? thats the only style i think of with the curl comming down...?? maybe??

Re: Re-thinking my wedding day hair
This was what I was originally going to have done to my hair. I am sort of thinking that if she can just pull more of it UP so there isn't as much on my neck & back, that would work. I am aiming for coolness here - my hair is so thick and heavy I am going to be roasting LOL!
