Technically, they aren't the same thing. Strep throat (bacteria that causes it--streptococcus) can cause pharyngitis which is an inflammation of the throat. Other things can cause pharyngitis as well. No starting, just saying. Hope your feeling better!

You can tell me anything as long as there's medicine to help me get better!! Everyone helped me out and I totally appreciate it! Now, my next problem....when can I go back to work!?!? lol
