re: Ugh!

I know a lot of people have been posting about this.....but today at work one of my student's mothers read my 'Future Mrs........' sweatshirt and said 'Oh so you're getting married?' and I said 'Yes' She replied with 'When?' and I said 'August 1st 2009' To which she replied, ' WHAT! 09?!?! That seems so far, why that is the longest engagement I've ever heard of' To which I responded ' Well thats weird b/c when we went to book our RH there were people already booked there for 09, so we're not the only ones.' Then she keeps on going with ' Maybe those people don't even have fiances yet and are just booking places to have imaginary weddings' ALL WITH A SMUG SMILE ON HER FACE! She is so lucky I was at work...............GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Alright, I admit it. I have an imaginary fiance. Really it's just me sitting here with my 100 cats getting ready for our future together.

Meanwhile, it kind of makes you see why kids are so dumb when you meet their parents are they're even more stupid than you think the kid is.

So was she saying that people book things bc they are hoping kinda 'if they book it, my fiance will come??' thing?

I think the way she meant it was ' No one can POSSIBLY be engaged for 2 years therefore, if you booked a place 2 years in advanced its b/c you are 1. dilusional 2. single and 3. hoping to meet someone soon and then 4. forcing them to marry you since you have a RH booked'

hahha omg sooo funny.....

some people i swear they are beyond dumb!!! i've gotten some people tell me that's i'm the longest engagment they've heard of... one client i remember said that to me... and i replied 'well how long did u wait before you u got married when he proposed?' and she said 'well like 8 months, but that was years ago hunnie.' then i said 'oh wow... so how long have you been married now' she's like 'oh well... we're not anymore... we got divorced after 3 years' and i laughed... and said 'uh huh.. ohhh.. well...' she gave me such a nasty look... and i just laughed some more and walked away from her... i mean seriously... dont u want to get to know what you're really getting in to.. plus save some money.. i dont want to get married only to get divorced a couple years later...

sorry had to vent a little... bad day today...
