While looking for dresses online, I keep finding that i love some of the dresses with sashes (.i.e amsale, etc.) but I was wondering if anyone knows if you can request the sash in a specific color?
So far I've seen light blue or champagne color sashes as standards, but I would love it if my dress had a dark/emerald green one as a nod to my Irish heritage - does anyone know if this is even possible?

From the ones i saw, you couldn't change the color. I had found a champagne colored one that I wanted in blue and they said they couldn't change it.
PS - you can move your old posts up by answering them and 'bumping them' and they'll come up to the top of the lists

love sash dresses, got one myself on the way (it'll be here someday!) i saw one for sale on ebay, dunno if it would be the right size, etc, but its a great price and perhaps the sash could be replaced. i have also seen custom made sash dresses advertised on ebay. here's a link to the knot sash bio too.
There is a company that operates out of ebay called bride inc. that custom makes designer dresses -- Amsale, Pronovias, Vera Wang, etc.. for very cheap-- I ordered an Amsale Sash dress this week that looks amazing -- I let you know when I get it what it came out ike, but all of the feedback on this company is very positive-- it is worth it to check out!
