how did you girls choose your readers? And why did you pick who you did?
I think with a ceremony you have 2 readers...is this correct? I havent met with the father yet.

Re: readers
we only have one picked so far... (the other two Shaun is supposed to pick)
i picked her because she is the closest person to me thats not technically family... i do call her my cousin though... and actually the only reason i didnt ask her to be in my BP was because i was afraid to insult her older sister who is actually the same age as me and was my best friend growing up... (we grew apart and havent spoken in a long time)....

Re: readers
We only had one, and we chose DH's 14 year old cousin. We had her sister as the FG and her brother was a GM so we wanted to include her in some way, and she looks up to DH so much and adores him, so she was really excited when we asked her to read a small passage.

Re: readers
We have three (prayer of the faithful you can have a reader as well). I chose both my cousins b/c I wasn't able to put them in the bridal party and FH's Aunt b/c it's his only one...

Re: readers
im not having a catholic mass, im jewish, hes catholic, were having what we consider a 'ceremony' in a very liberal church to sum it up and we couldve done 1 or 2 readings or none if we wanted.
i definately had 1 person who meant a lot to me througout my life that i wanted as a reader. (my bffs mom) and then i asked fh if there was anyone who meant a lot to him besides his mom who he would want to read and also isnt part of the bridal party. he said he really didnt and if i had someone else, i should choose them instead of him picking someone just for the helll of it. so i chose another person (older) who obviously isnt in the bridal party but has been there for me and is special to me.

Re: readers
Our 2 readers are FH's 2 sisters...it worked out well having them involved in some way since we're having a small BP.

Re: readers
WE have 2 readers and a Prayer of the Faithful. My sister (MOH) and FH brother (BM) will be doing 2 readings. Another good friend of mine not in the bridal party will be doing the Prayer of the Faithful.
