Are you giving your readers for your ceremony a gift for being part of the wedding? I was thinking maybe giving them a gift certificate to dinner. Is it expected so to say like the bridal party gifts? Thoughts....

No, I don't think it's necessary. We're only doing the bridal party.
That's really generous of you. It's not expected but we will be getting them a gift but something small and personalized.
we aren't having readers, but we are having friends helping with our chuppah. I was torn about giving them something, as of now I don't plan too but I may change my mind later on.
We'll give our reader a little something. Not as elaborate as the bridal party, but she'll get something....just haven't figured it out yet.
I'm thinking of getting them a bottle of wine.
We're getting them something small. I think we're getting an Alex and Ani bracelet and a small personalized cooler.
I got stuff for my readers. My one reader always suggests great books to me so I got her a book and a gift certificate to Barnes & Nobles ($25.) My other reader has a podcast on beer so I got him a $25 gift certifcate to John Harvard's Brewery and a variety of beer glasses. If I knew it wasn't expected, I wouldn't have done it but I thought I had read it was. My bridesmaids gifts were easy, it was everyone else that was stressing me out.
We had three readers. I got my aunt a picture frame that said Aunt on it. FH's uncle and cousin got $25 Amazon gift cards and my other aunt we got a $25 gift card to HomeGoods.
Probably something little if anything at all.. Maybe something personalized from things remembered type of thing.
I like the wine idea. I may do something small for our readers
I'm getting them a little something.
