Reading during a ceremony

Hey girls!

So, I'm having my sister-in-law do a reading during our ceremony (non-religious ceremony at our reception venue). Where do my FH and I stand during the reading? Off to the side? Or do we leave the first two seats in one of the aisles open and sit there?

It's pretty short. Shouldn't take more than a minute or two to read.

I'd really appreciate any and all input!
